Open call: Second round of the Glass Academy, launched by the Nuutajärvi Cultural Foundation, introduces the potential of studio-made glass. The course is open to professionals in the glass industry as well as glass-inspired artists and designers. The aim is to support the development of new Finnish studio glass. The glass Academy brings together glass makers and designers and gives the opportunity to implement a limited project for a prototype degree in a professional environment. Ideas are developed and processed together with the group. Mentors include designer Markku Salo and designer Kirsti Taiviola.
